The best way to check if a lip gloss color would look good on you is to find the color you're interested in, and then compare it to the skin on the back of your hand (provided it's not excessively sunburned or something).
If you get it from CVS you can return it if you don't like the shade, even if there's nothing wrong with it (: That's their policy.
I feel it would look a little too washed out, I would reccomend getting a neutral with a touch of pink hue in it.
I dunno, it depends on what other colors are undertones in your skin... I'd say maybe not.
