If you are a normal size/weight adult you can take 50mg of Benadryl before bedtime. If it's a minor reaction, that will usually kick it out of you. (25mg will probably do the trick if you don't want to take the full 50mg.)I think i had an allergic reaction to lip gloss any ideas how to get rid of the tiny bumps on my lips?
First of all discontinue using the lipgloss! Take something that will help bring down the swelling benodryl or advil could do the trick. Put some moisturizer on your lips , this will make sure they dont dry up and make the bumps worse. If the bumps do not go away in the next day or two book a doctors appointment.I think i had an allergic reaction to lip gloss any ideas how to get rid of the tiny bumps on my lips?
It could just be your sebaceous glands that you are seeing. Do some research on google for ';bumps on lips';. You could be just noticing something that has always been there.
Try taking benedryl and then put on Carmex.
I have found the best thing to do is stop using the product and use vaseline or another moisturizing product that has different ingredients. Try not to lick your lips and avoid irritating foods (salt, etc.). I feel your pain. I discovered the hard way I'm allergic to Chapstick! It took some trial and error but I've found I can use blistex medicated and I don't dare try anything else. Good luck!
I had the same problem. It should go away on its own after a couple of days. Until then, dont put anything else on your lips and stop using the lip gloss. Also, if your lips itch, try as hard as you can not to itch them. It only makes it worse. You could try benedryl but it never really helped me.
