Why don't people wear lipstick anymore? all I see is lip gloss every where..?

i wear lipstick...its a wet shine kind...so it gives the shinyness and it gives the vivid color a lipstick gives...like a 2 in 1 i guess...i think if u get the right kind of lipstick...u know that ';it'; lipstick...it makes lips look oo lala and doesnt age u at all...also if u get pale shades and nude shades of lip stick...they are an awesome base for shaddow...just saying i do it...i also use lipstick as shaddow it self and the lip color sometimes when i travel...i think a lot of people think its aging because its always marketed by the 30+ models and actresses in ads...i dunno i think the right shade is whats its all about too...who wants to keep trying lipstick on to find that ';it'; shade. lolWhy don't people wear lipstick anymore? all I see is lip gloss every where..?
I think more people are wearing gloss because it is a good summer look. In the summer months I like to wear gloss because I think it is a sheerer and sexier alternative to the heavier dose of color that comes from a lipstick. well there is really now exact reason but when i wear all black I put my russian red lipstick on with some lipgloss to seal it. I think it is because people are starting to get a little simpler with their makeup. but i always go to the extreme (I can work a lot of makeup). But another reason is because people are always on the go and dont have the time for applying it.

sometimes lipstick is too heavy for everyday wear. Lip gloss is light, comfortable and much easier to remove if you make a mistake.





lipstick is more for special occasions..
No kidding...i know what you mean...i rarely ever see anyone wearing lipstick i think its because its to much...and it always like stains and falls into the creases of your lips and ****...but recently i have been wanting to wear bright red lip stick...LOL
Eh, they're probably trying to market to teenagers more.

In my time lipstick was the big thing. You did not leave the house without it. Trends come and go through the years. It will become popular again. Red lipstick has come back in the last few years.
I'm a waiter, and there's very little more weird than a ring of red around a straw. Now imagine that around a guy's... you get it. Maybe girls finally are figuring this out. Go gloss!!!
Lip gloss looks slightly more natural, and lipstick can be overpowering, especially when someone is wearing heavy eye make-up.
My mom wear lipstick, but she's 50...I guess it's all about fashion and what's in style...I still put on lipstick, but I blot it so much you can barely see it then I put on a matching lip gloss.
natural beauty is in people aren't hiding behind tones of make up anymore and if your going to make out with a guy he does not want to be wearing your lipstick i stopped using it cuz it just rubbed off anyways
I don't wear makeup. I think lipstick makes people look like whores. I wear chapstick, though, to keep my lips from getting chapped.
