Typically, if they're in an opaque container, they can last up to two years (one year if the container is clear). However, this can be much shorter if abused. Mine go bad quickly if I accidentally leave them in a hot car during the summer or put them through the wash a few times. After two years, they might be safe, but they probably won't work as well b/c some of the chemicals will likely have broken down.How long does lip gloss last you?

Forever! Its not food. Shake it up and put it on. I would only be concerned about using it if you are sick. If you get the yucky germs that make you sick I would throw it away and just purchase a new container.
Not long at all. i'm always re-applying it..


urmm i'm not sure about lipgloss, but mascara is 6 months, so maybe its along them lines?

they never really go bad and if you dont move your mouth a lot it lasts for maybe a half hour to an hour.
I can't seem to keep up with them for more than a week or two, so I have no idea.
