I have ruby red lips, and everytime I put on lip gloss, it looks like have to much mae- up on! help me!?

I love lip gloss, and everytime I put it on my red lips, it looks like I have on a TON of mae-up.... how can I mae my lips look less... ';done.';???I have ruby red lips, and everytime I put on lip gloss, it looks like have to much mae- up on! help me!?
using a lipstick thats a grayish pink will reduce that ruby redness to your lips. Thats what Angelina Jolie does, she also has naturally very red lips. Sorry hon, you may have to cut out the lip gloss. Try a lipliner and a matte lipstick in your favorite color instead. If you do still want to use lipgloss, try using one with a subtle shade, like a dusty rose or a natural/beige/tan... then blot with a kleenex after you apply it, it willl leave you with just enough color %26amp; shine.

Me too! What you do is you apply lots of lip balm, then apply some liquid concealer and blend it it, then clear lipgloss.
get an all natural lip balm like burts bees or badger balm
Don't use shiny gloss, just use a balm like chap stick or something. Or use a nice nude beige lipstick. REvlon makes good nude shades. I have bright colored lips too, so I understand how tough it is. Don't put foundation on your lips and then lipstick, it just gets gross.
